Greer driver killed in crash near Pendleton

PENDLETON, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A driver from Greer was killed in a crash near Pendleton on Friday morning.

The crash happened at 10:44 a.m. near the intersection of U.S. Highway 76 and Sandy Springs Road.

Troopers said the Greer driver was headed west on the highway when a oncoming car crossed the centerline and hit the Greer driver's door.

The identity of the victim was not immediately released.
