SIMPSONVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Golden Lanes in Simpsonville is hosting a bowling tournament Saturday to support the Muscular Dystrophy Association and their research.

Starting at 1 p.m., teams are expected to hit the lanes and try to win cash prizes of $200.

To enter the tournament, each player must donate $20 to support the MDA.

Saturday's event is in honor of Camden Bennett who is 6 years old and has Duchennes Muscular Dystrophy.

There will also be a raffle for prizes and a silent auction and bake sale. Last year's fundraiser raised $3,600 and organizers hope to raise even more on Saturday.

The bowling alley is located at 108 Balcome Blvd. at Golden Park Recreation Center.
