Laurens County deputies are asking for the public's help to find a man who has been missing for 21 years.
Deputies said that on Aug. 22, 1991, Henry Fowler, also known as Doc, left his home on Brickhouse Road in Hickory Tavern, but never arrived for work at what is now called the TD Convention Center in Greenville.
Investigators said that Fowler's vehicle was found the same day he disappeared in Dorchester County.
Fowler, who was 69 at the time he vanished, was described as black, 5'8" tall and 185 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing gray pants, a light-colored short-sleeve shirt, a yellow baseball cap, black leather shoes and a black watch with a black leather band.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Fowler was asked to call Laurens County Crime Stoppers at 864-68-CRIME (864-682-7463).
