NC soldier dies in Germany after injured in Afghanistan

GROVER, NC (FOX Carolina) -

A soldier from Cleveland County, NC, died in Germany on Friday from injuries he sustained while serving in Afghanistan, according to the Department of Defense.

Spc. James A. Justice, 21, of Grover died at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany from injuries he suffered on Aug. 14 from enemy small-arms fire in the Wardak province of Afghanistan.

Justice was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade Combat Team, Caserma Ederle in Vicenza, Italy.
