A screen manufacturing corporation based in Spartanburg County has announced plans to expand, investing $7 million and generating 32 new jobs.

Polydeck Screen Corporation produces systems for materials screening operations in the aggregate, coal and mining industries, and has been based in Spartanburg  since 1978.

The company's expansion includes the addition of a neighboring facility on Dewberry Road. The company will add several pieces of state-of-the-art equipment, including a water jet, a CNC router and several injection molding machines in order to produce a new line of screen media products.

Since 1978, Polydeck has expanded its Spartanburg operations five times to keep with demands.

The company is hiring as needed for the new positions. Anyone interested in job opportunities should visit Polydeck's careers page on their website to see a list of current hiring needs.
