Gov. Nikki Haley plans to make two appearances in the Upstate on Thursday to celebrate jobs and the signing of two bills.
Haley will stop at Electrolux in Anderson County at 10:30 a.m. to commemorate the opening of its new R&D center.
According to the company's website, Electrolux makes household appliances and appliances for professional use. The company says it sells more than 40 million products to customers in more than 150 markets.
Haley was in Anderson two days ago when she signed the Medal of Valor bill awarding service members posthumously for their service and connection to South Carolina.
The governor will sign two bills, the Born Alive Infant Protection Act and the Affordable Care Act Abortion Opt out, at the Carolina Pregnancy Center in Spartanburg at 1 p.m.
Haley received a lot of attention on Wednesday when she unveiled a package of proposed ethics reforms that include abolishing legislative ethics panels and removing legislators' exemptions from open records law.
