SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Deputies are searching for gunmen after two people were wounded in a drive-by shooting in Spartanburg on Tuesday night.

Spartanburg County deputies said the shooting happened outside of a home located at 260 Frey Creek Road about 8:35 p.m.

One of the victims told deputies he was standing outside the house with another man when a newer, dark colored four-door car approached from Nazareth Church Road. The deputy's report said the men heard hollering from the car to try to get them to walk towards it.

The victim said he did not recognize anyone inside the car and then shots were fired from the car. He was shot in the left leg and the other man was hit in the chest and arm as rounds were fired from the car, the report said.

Both victims were taken to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center and deputies said their injuries were not life-threatening.

As of 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, deputies did not have any description of the suspects and ask anyone with information to call CrimeStoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
