UNION, SC (FOX Carolina) -
Two more people were arrested Wednesday in connection with the shooting death of a Buffalo teen earlier this month.
The shooting happened about 2:30 a.m. Aug. 12 in the 400 block of Lukesville Road in Buffalo.
Union County Sheriff David Taylor said 17-year-old Dequan Jones and a 20-year-old man were taken to Wallace Thomson Hospital with gunshot wounds. He said Jones was pronounced dead at the hospital.
After the shooting, 23-year-old Chadrick Johnson, of Carlisle, was charged with murder in connection with Jones' death.
On Monday, Taylor announced the arrest of 20-year-old Devonta Mobley, also of Carlisle, in connection with Jones' death. He was charged with murder, attempted murder, malicious injury and discharging a firearm into a dwelling.
On Wednesday, Taylor announced the arrests of 18-year-old Daveus Boler, of Carlisle, and 21-year-old Danny Gossett, of Union, in connection with Jones' death. Both men were charged with murder, attempted murder, malicious injury and discharging a firearm into a dwelling.
Taylor said even more arrests are likely in the case.
