GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A Minnesota-based brewery who donates 50 percent of its profits can now be bought across South Carolina.

Founding Fathers Brewing Company has two brews, Founding Fathers Lager and Founding Fathers Light, that are for sale in some local grocery and liquor stores.

The company said profits collected in South Carolina will go to the Armed Forces Relief Trust and the South Carolina National Guard Association.

The company is formally launching its beers at the Greenville Drive game on Friday, though the beer has been for sale in the state for a few months.

Founding Fathers are for sale at all Publix Supermarkets, Greens, Total Wine and coming soon to Bi-Lo stores and.

Phil Knutsen, Founder, President and CEO, said the beers are crafted to compete with Miller, Bud and Coors, which he said are foreign-owned operations unlike Founding Fathers.
