GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Following both Clemson and South Carolina's week one wins, two offensive standouts were honored by their respective conferences.

Clemson running back Andre Ellington was named the Atlantic Coast Conference offensive back of the week in the Tigers' win over Auburn University in Atlanta on Saturday.

The Clemson senior from Moncks Corner, SC,  had 228 yards rushing in 25 carries in the 26-19 victory. Ellington's total was the most across the country this weekend, the most by a Clemson running back against an SEC team in history, and the most in a season opener.

Another Tiger earned the honor of ACC offensive lineman of the week. Dalton Freeman, a senior from Pelion, SC, played every snap at center and had five knockdown blocks.

Marcus Lattimore received top weekly honors in the Southeastern Conference as the offensive player of the week for the Gamecocks.

The junior tailback from Duncan, SC, had a game-high 110 yards rushing and two touchdowns on 23 carries to lead South Carolina to a 17-13 conference win over Vanderbilt.

Both Clemson and South Carolina held strong when the week two rankings were released on Tuesday.

In the Associated Press Top 25 list, South Carolina was still ranked ninth while Clemson moved up to 12th from 14th. The USA Today Poll had the Gamecocks fall from ninth to 11th and Clemson rose from 14th to 13th.
