Deputies said a man wanted in connection with the 2011 shooting that killed a Boiling Springs teenager and left two other people wounded has been apprehended in Georgia.

Spartanburg County deputies identified Tyree Holcomb, 26, as the suspect accused of killing Rashad Glenn, 19, at a home on Falcon Drive on Sept. 29.

Investigators said they think robbery was a motive for the shooting. Deputies said Holcomb shot two other people besides Glenn.

Witnesses saw several people leave the scene in a dark-colored vehicle after the shooting, deputies said.

Several days after the shooting, deputies issued warrants for murder, first-degree burglary and two counts of attempted murder for Holcomb.

On Aug. 31, DeKalb County deputies in Georgia arrested Holcomb on several charges, including obstruction of officers and second-degree forgery.

The Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office was notified of his arrest. Holcombe has not yet been extradited back to the Upstate, and deputies said they do not yet know when that will occur.
