ROEBUCK, SC (FOX Carolina) -
One person died in Spartanburg County after a head-on collision on Friday.
Troopers said it happened on Otts Shoals Road in Roebuck when a pickup truck was driving in the opposite lane and hit a car head-on about 3 p.m.
The coroner said the driver of the truck was 82-year-old Harold Mitchell of Cowpens, who died in the crash.
Authorities said Mitchell was not wearing a seatbelt.
The woman who was driving the car was hurt and taken to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
