ASHEVILLE, NC (FOX Carolina) -
Asheville police are looking for a suspect after a pedestrian was struck by a driver after getting into a verbal fight Saturday.
Police said the victim was walking his family across the street in the cross walk when he had a verbal dispute with the male driver of a white Acura in front of the REI in Biltmore Park.
Witnesses told police the driver then ran up on the curb and struck the victim, before driving off.
The man was transported to Mission Hospital for his injuries and police are still looking for information on the suspects driving the car, police said.
Witnesses were able to identify a partial license plate of BDY.
Police said there was a second man inside the Acura.
