We don't often say "hello, Monday" with as much enthusiasm as we have this morning, but the cool and comfortable air is making this a great day! I think the morning joggers have some extra 'pep in their step,' since we (finally!) don't have that oppressive, stiff air in place. The dry air and clear skies have allowed temperatures to sink into the 50s and low 60s in the Upstate. Mountain spots have been downright chilly, as temperatures fell into the mid and upper 40s.
The story today can be summed up in a few words: mainly clear and comfortable. Highs this afternoon will range from the mid 70s in the Mountains to the low 80s in Upstate spots. With the low humidity in place, it will be pleasant from the pool to the golf course... and even for the outdoor workers!
The forecast will stay the same through the remainder of the week - it's nice to say we've got quiet weather ahead. Any rain chance will hold off until the weekend. They'll be small on Saturday with a better chance of scattered rain affecting the Mountains on Sunday.
