RUTHERFORDTON, NC (FOX Carolina) -
Deputies in Rutherford and Polk counties hope someone can identity a man caught on camera during a rash of recent break-ins.
Deputies said they are looking to identify a person of interest in the breaking and entering of home along North Carolina Highway 9 on Sept. 5.
The thefts happened near the Rutherford County line. Several guns and jewelry were stolen during the break-ins, deputies said.
One home had a game camera that recorded photos of a black male and a white vehicle, which is possibly a Pontiac, at 12:17 p.m.
Anyone with information about the thefts or who can identify the subject is asked to call the Polk County Sheriff's Office at 828-894-3001.
