Deputies are looking for information after a man was found suffering from a gunshot wound to the head at his Piedmont home Monday morning.
Anderson County deputies were called to a home on Smith Drive near Osteen Hill Road about 9:30 a.m.
The victim was taken to Greenville Memorial Hospital where he died a little before midnight, according to Anderson County deputy coroner Don McCown.
McCown identified the victim as Timothy Ramsey, 25.
There is no word on any suspects at this time. Deputies said they are not yet sure of the circumstances that led to the shooting.
Chad McBride with the Anderson County Sheriff's Office said it was a drive-by shooting. Initial reports from deputies said the victim was found inside his home.
