ANDERSON, SC (FOX Carolina) -

An Anderson man was arrested Sunday after police said he had a rifle and scope trained on a home.

According to an incident report, a woman called police to her College Avenue home after, while walking outside to leave for church, she noticed a man parked in a red pickup pointing a gun with a scope on it at her. The report said that the woman crouched down, went back inside, told her roommate about it, and the pair went to a back bedroom and called for help.

Police said that when they arrived at the scene, a man in a red pickup began driving away. They said that when the truck stopped, they found a brown rifle inside and arrested the driver, 65-year-old Gary Mulholland.

Mulholland was charged with pointing and presenting a firearm.
