GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

It's yet another sign of growth in Greenville.

The TD stage in nestled behind the Peace Center along the Reedy River, which was part of a $22.8 million renovation project.

"It allows for Greenville to have an outdoor venue that will accommodate performers like Vince Gill. So it should be a great new start to Greenville," said Kara Dullea with the Peace Center.

Wednesday night's headliner country music star Vince Gill drew hundreds to downtown.

"I definitely recommend him. He's a great star and great singer. I love listening to him old and new," said fan Debbie Burnett.

The Peace Center, along with city leaders, hope more excited fans make their way downtown to keep the economic wheels of nearby businesses turning.

"Were just happy that the Peace Center renovations are complete for the most part and that TD and all the other corporate sponsors made this complete," Dullea said.
