Good morning, and happy 'Friday Eve'!! I don't have much "new" to add to the forecast discussion, but I think that's okay with a lot of people! Comfortably low humidity, lots of sunshine and slightly below-normal highs are in our Thursday forecast. Lunchtime temps will range from the low to mid 70s - so take your lunch break outdoors! Highs will top out in the mid 70s in the Mountains and the low 80s in the Upstate.
Friday and Saturday will be dry across the Upstate and most of WNC, with partly cloudy skies overhead. Highs will be seasonal, but humidity levels will stay comfy. A cold front will pass through, and could trigger an isolated shower or t-storm in the Mountains. Most areas in WNC will stay dry, though.
A low pressure system to our southwest will begin to move our way by late-weekend, and will bring us wet weather into the start of next week. At this point, Sunday looks to stay mainly dry - with only an isolated/widely scattered rain chance. Monday and Tuesday will bring more in the way of clouds and showers. A stronger cold front will pass later on Tuesday, and behind that front the models show cooler/very dry air moving in by mid-next week.
