Tractor-riding farmer killed in Starr crash

STARR, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A farmer on his tractor was killed in a crash near Starr on Thursday morning.

The crash happened about 11:40 a.m. near the intersection of Smith McGee Road and Highway 187.

Anderson County Coroner Greg Shore said 58-year-old Harold Clinkscales was on his tractor when it was hit by another vehicle. He said Clinkscales died at the scene.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol did not immediately release details of the crash.
