GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -
Deputies said someone stole $53,750 worth of Department of Transportation equipment from a Greenville storage area.
Greenville County deputies said the theft happened between 5 a.m. and 11 p.m. Wednesday along Augusta Road under the Interstate 85 bridge.
The items stolen were stored at this area when not in use.
Deputies said the missing items were message and arrow boards used to notify drivers of upcoming construction, and are equipped with a hitch and wheels making them easily portable by truck.
