Deputies are looking for two men after one of them fired shots during the robbery of an Anderson County restaurant Monday morning.
Dispatchers said the Waffle House on Highway 28 Bypass was robbed about 5:40 a.m.
Anderson County deputies said a cook behind the grill said two men entered the restaurant and demanded everyone get on the floor at gunpoint.
One of the men was holding a shotgun and demanded an employee open the cash register, but the victim didn't know how, according to the incident report.
Several people then heard one of the men fire a shot then run out of the restaurant and drive away, deputies said. A customer said one of the men fired a shot towards the entrance and restrooms, the report said.
The report described one of the suspects as 5'9" tall black male, heavy set, wearing a black T-shirt, black shorts, black tennis shoes, a white T-shirt over his head, blue rubber gloves and he had a beard.
The suspect armed with the gun was described as 5'9" tall black male, medium build, wearing a red T-shirt with white designs on the front and back covering his face, short hair, blue jeans, blue rubber gloves and black tennis shoes, according to the report.
No one was injured during the robbery and shooting, dispatchers said.
