GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Shiver me Timbers. Krispy Kreme is getting in on "Talk Like a Pirate Day" with a tasty grub giveaway.

On Wednesday, Sept. 19, any buccaneer who desires a delectable doughnut can get a free one by talking like a pirate at a participating Krispy Kreme location.

Blimey you say? Well there's more. A bounty of a dozen free glazed doughnuts will go to the lads or lasses wearing full pirate attire.

"Our Talk Like A Pirate Day promotion is a fun and unique opportunity to share the joy of Krispy Kreme online and in our shops as we continue to celebrate 75 years of our one-of-a-kind sweet treats with doughnut fans around the world," says Dwayne Chambers, Chief Marketing Officer Krispy Kreme Doughnuts.

To claim yer loot on Sept. 19, ye must:

  • Talk like a pirate or wear an eye patch to a participating Krispy Kreme shop for one free glazed doughnut.
  • Visit a participating Krispy Kreme location in full pirate costume for a dozen free glazed doughnuts. No weapons allowed.
