Saturday night the Tigers finished off the Idaho Vandals 63-14 and attention quickly turned to the Auburn Tigers, LSU's first SEC matchup and road trip. Here's a taste of "What They are Saying" about #2 LSU and Auburn:
"I looked after we got the win. I wanted to see the reaction," Whitaker said. "And the reaction was, 'Hey, we got the win, we've got to move on.' And I think the celebration was probably the fight song in the locker room, but after that we went on to LSU."
"I just think they're excited that they're excited that a game like this is coming back home," Chizik said. "This is why you come to Auburn, to play in great games like this."
A 63-14 blowout of Idaho on Saturday, which helped the Tigers climb to No. 2 in the AP poll, served as the latest reminder that LSU's sideline is loaded with exceptional players waiting for their chance to shine.
The Southeastern Conference rivals were ranked first and second for eight weeks during last season before eventually meeting in the BCS title game.
