Unclaimed lottery ticket worth $10K in Upstate

COLUMBIA, SC (FOX Carolina) -

South Carolina Education Lottery officials said there are three unclaimed Mega Millions tickets worth $10,000 each, including one sold in the Upstate.

The unclaimed tickets will expire on Sept. 26. The winning tickets were sold for the record-setting $656 million Mega Millions drawing on March 30.

The winning tickets were sold the Kangaroo Express at 100 Shelby Hwy. in Gaffney, the Exxon at 1140 Sam Rittenberg Blvd. in Charleston, and the Citgo at 4650 Broad St. in Sumter.

The tickets matched four white ball numbers and the gold Megaball number.

The winning numbers for the March 30 drawing were: 2, 4, 23, 38, 46, Megaball 23 and Megaplier 3.

The winning tickets must be claimed at the Columbia Claims Center before 4:45 p.m. on Sept. 26.

If the prizes are not claimed, the winnings will be deposited into the Education Lottery Account. Players have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prizes.
