GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Three people have been arrested after deputies said they hatched a scheme to hold up a Greenville County bar last weekend.

Deputies said that about 5:15 p.m. Sunday they were called to Sip Its at 1608 Easley Bridge Rd. about a robbery in progress. They said that arriving deputies saw two people run out of the back door of the bar, and began chasing them. They said the pair was arrested a short time later.

Timaeus Marshall Jr., 16, of Greenville, and a 13-year-old boy were each charged with armed robbery and criminal conspiracy in connection with the robbery.

Investigators said they determined that 32-year-old Kenneth Taylor arranged for Marshall and the boy to rob the bar. They said Taylor provided the combination to the bar's safe to the pair, informed the pair how to commit the crime and provided them with the gun that was used in the heist.

Taylor, who was already in jail on an unrelated charge, was charged with four counts of accessory before the fact of a felony, four counts of criminal conspiracy and two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Marshall, who was charged as an adult, was released from jail on $30,000 bond. The 13-year-old boy was released to his parents. Taylor was being held in jail, where he awaits a bond hearing.
