Is this September 24th? A Frost Advisory this morning... wow!
Monday Morning Chill: The emphasis this morning was how chilly it was outside. Temperatures ranged from the 30s and 40s across Western North Carolina to mostly upper 40s and some low 50s for Upstate towns. Several viewer reports echoed the chilly start. Randy told us his morning low was 47° in Gaffney. We received a report from Carnesville, GA where April told us the temperature dipped to 43°. Also, Jamie in Easley checked in with 43° at her home.
Afternoon Sunshine: You'll be able to enjoy a comfortable afternoon under a blue sky as temperatures hover in the 60s most of the day with 72-75 for highs by late afternoon across the Upstate and NE Georgia. Western NC will also enjoy some beautiful weather as highs struggle to reach 65-70 by the afternoon.
Slightly Warmer Mid-Week: Humidity won't be an issue, but temperatures will get past 80 on Wednesday and Thursday with more sunshine (no rain) expected. An area of high pressure centered along the Carolina Coast will send a southerly and southwesterly flow in our direction providing for a warming trend.
