Police: Stolen card racks up $1K in charges at mall

GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Police hope someone can identify two persons of interest in connection with the use of a stolen credit card at a Greenville mall.

Greenville police said a man and woman were caught on camera in connection with the financial transaction fraud and are considered persons of interest in their investigation.

The stolen credit card was used to by more than $1,000 worth of goods at Haywood Mall on Aug. 10 located on Haywood Road, police said.

Investigators said the card was stolen during an auto breaking in August.

The first subject is a male with a gray tank top, plaid shorts and white shoes. The second person of interest in the photos is a female wearing what appears to be a light green shirt, white pants and carrying a brown bag.

Police ask anyone who knows the individuals or with information related to this incident to call the Greenville Police Tip Line at 864-271-GCPD or Greenville Crime Stoppers at 864-23-CRIME.
