BOILING SPRINGS, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Deputies were called to Boiling Springs High School on Sunday after someone found several spray-painted messages on campus.

One of the victim's tagged in the graffiti notified Spartanburg County deputies of the vandalism.

According to a sheriff's office report, deputies found four spray painted messages on the front and left side of the building, including on bricks and on the sidewalk.

"BULLDOG blood 10/19" was painted on the front sidewalk, according to the report.

The bulldog statue in front of the school had also been spray painted red, deputies said.

The report said the school resource officer would investigate the vandalism.

The school's principal, Chuck Gordon, said he did not remember seeing the damage when he was last at school Saturday.

The Boiling Springs football team hosts the Dorman Cavaliers on Oct. 19.

In 2011, Dorman fans were accused of spray painting the Boiling Springs bulldog statue and sidewalk the week of the Boiling Springs-Dorman game.
