Deputies won't yet comment on Greenwood SWAT call

GREENWOOD, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Deputies said they would not immediately comment on why a SWAT team was called to a Greenwood apartment complex Monday.

Dispatchers told FOX Carolina that SWAT officers were called to the Georgetown Apartments on E. Northside Drive to assist with an investigation.

Investigators at the sheriff's office said they had no comment on what happened at the apartment complex, but did say they are interrogating people.

Deputies said a statement about the situation would be released Tuesday.
