The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a series of job fairs nationwide for veterans and active-duty military, including one in Spartanburg on Thursday.
The Hiring Our Heroes job fair is from 9 a.m. until noon. It is being held at the National Guard Armory located at 301 N. Campus Blvd. on the campus of USC Upstate.
The free hiring fair is for veteran job seekers, active duty military members, Guard and Reserve members, and military and veteran spouses.
There is another Hiring Our Heroes event scheduled for Oct. 25 in Greenwood at American Legion Post 20 on Calhoun Avenue.
