ANDERSON, SC (FOX Carolina) -
A man was shot in the abdomen while riding in a car with three men, Anderson police said Thursday.
Lt. Tony Tilley said the 23-year-old man was able to get out of the car and a passer-by gave him a ride to the emergency room, which is when officers were called.
A car matching the description of the suspects' vehicle was later stopped by Iva police, and several people were detained for questioning, Tilley said.
Police charged three Greenwood men in connection with the shooting. Dante Pride, 37, and Michael Oliver, 38, were charged with accessory after the fact of attempted murder.
Kenneth Baker, 33, was charged with attempted murder and possession of a knife or firearm during the commission of a violent crime.
