An Anderson County company has announced its plans to expand with a new facility in Piedmont, which will result in a $5 million investment in the next five years.
Henry Molded Products Inc. manufactures sustainable, molded fiber protective packaging products and will expand to meet its customers' needs.
The company's South Carolina expansion will generate 18 new jobs at its production and distribution facility in at 125 Hollow Dr. in Piedmont.
"South Carolina has always provided us with an excellent business environment and a skilled workforce," Douglass Henry, president of Henry Molded Products Inc. "We appreciate all the support we've received from state and local officials."
The company will begin hiring for the new positions in October.
