ASHEVILLE, NC (FOX Carolina) -
With 37 days to go until voters head to the polls, Vice President Joe Biden is scheduled to visit Asheville on Tuesday.
According to a release from the campaign, Biden will hold a grassroots event at the Justice Center on the campus of UNC Asheville at 3:30 p.m.
Doors to the crowd open at 1:30 p.m.
There were no planned stops for either Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney or his running mate Paul Ryan in the month of October, according to the campaign's website.
North Carolina is among nine states being considered a swing state in the Nov. 6 election.
