EASLEY, SC (FOX Carolina) -
Not six feet of soil, but half an inch of plywood is what covered an exposed grave at the Westview Cemetery Monday.
"That's just creepy," said Teresa Henry, whose relatives are buried at the same cemetery.
Henry said the grave has been exposed for more than two years.
"You can lift it up and you can look down in there," said Henry.
She also said several headstones were vandalized and overturned more than a decade ago.

"I don't even like coming up through here. When I come up through here I look the other way. I don't like looking that way because I know there is somebody in there," said Henry.
Though the grave looks like it's been perfectly dug out, one local funeral home said two years ago the ground sunk in as a city worker was trimming weeds and he fell into the grave, causing a hole.
They said fixing it was on no one's priority list.
Meanwhile, the Easley city manager said he knew nothing about this exposed grave, but plans have now been made to have it filled in with dirt Tuesday.
"It's disrespectful and the city should take more responsibility than they do," said Henry.
City officials said while they take care of the common areas of the cemetery by mowing the grass, it's actually the family's responsibility to take care of the individual graves.
