CLINTON, SC (FOX Carolina) -
Laurens County deputies said two men stormed into a Clinton home Tuesday afternoon and put a gun to the head of a wheelchair-bound woman.
The home invasion happened about 12:30 p.m. at a house on Stomp Springs Road.
Deputies said two men, who were wearing ski masks, forced their way into the home, pointed a gun at the head of the victim and demanded money. They said that the men then rummaged through a bedroom and a gun cabinet. They said the pair got away with several shotguns and cash.
Investigators said the men were last seen driving a blue or light purple sport-utility vehicle, possible a Chevy Blazer or an Isuzu Rodeo. They said the vehicle may have sustained front-end damage during the getaway.
Anyone with information about the robbery was asked to call Crime Stoppers at 864-68-CRIME (864-682-7463).
