New parking lot to open in Greenville's West End

GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A new public parking lot will open in Greenville's West End on Friday.

The paved, 81-space lot is located at the corner of Rhett and River streets.

Officials said parking rates start at $1 per hour, with a $6 daily maximum. They said motorists can park in the lot for free on weekdays from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. and from 6 p.m. Friday until 6 a.m. Monday.
