SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Spartanburg police are hoping to identify two men seen on camera involved in a Tractor Supply store larceny after similar thefts have been reported in Greenville, Anderson and Travelers Rest.

Spartanburg Public Safety officers were called to the Tractor Supply store at 2091 E. Main St. in Spartanburg about 10 p.m. after someone cut a wire and stole a log splitter.

Surveillance video shows two white men use a pair of bolt cutters to cut through the cable that secured the black Huskee 35-ton log splitter with a gray splitting cylinder, and then hooked it to a white Ford F-250 pickup truck before leaving, according to the police report.

Police said one of the subjects was wearing a white T-shirt, khaki shorts and tan ball hat while the other subject was wearing a blue T-shirt, blue jeans and a white ball hat.

Both men appeared to be between 20 and 30 years old, the report said. The standard cab truck had no tint on the windows and unknown tag information.

Anyone with information about the theft or who can identify the suspects is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
