150K to attend Fall For Greenville this weekend

GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

More than 150,000 people are expected to attend downtown Greenville's annual autumn festival St. Francis Fall For Greenville, being held this weekend.

A news conference was held at Greenville City Hall on Tuesday morning, where organizers revealed some of the features of this year's festival, which runs from Friday to Sunday.

Organizers said the festival will feature 39 restaurants, culinary demonstrations, competitions, music and much more.

For the second year in a row, Greenlink will offer a free park-and-ride service. Festivalgoers can ride a shuttle from CU-ICAR to downtown.

Tickets for the festival are $5 per sheet, with eight tickets per sheet. The tickets can be used to purchase food, beverages, merchandise and rides.

The festival will run from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and noon to 7 p.m. Sunday.
