Thursday: Chilly conditions will start the day with patchy frost likely in Western North Carolina, but it won't stay uncomfortable for long. A sunny sky will persist through the day as temperatures rise into the 60s area-wide. No rain.
Friday: Temperatures will be cool once again Friday morning, but not quite as cool as sunrise on Thursday. You'll notice a few more clouds overhead on Friday as well, but it looks like there will be more sunshine than clouds as highs go back 70° in the Upstate/NE Georgia with upper 60s in Western NC. No rain.
Fall For Greenville: This weekend looks like a real good time to get downtown and enjoy the festivities at Fall for Greenville! Temperatures will be in the 60s and low 70s with a mix of sun and clouds. Rain will not impact your plans this weekend.
Dry Pattern: The dominant wind direction during the last week and a half has been north and northwest. As long as we are experiences a dry flow from the northwest (not unusual for Fall), it will be tough to get any rain to come down. There are some signs that the flow could switch and come at us from the southwest by the middle of next week so we'll see if that holds.
