SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -
Police said a Spartanburg man is wanted after he allegedly beat up his ex-girlfriend, knocking her unconscious during the attack.
The Spartanburg Public Safety Department issued arrest warrants for 24-year-old Chandrick Smith of Cleveland Drive in August for criminal domestic violence second offense and first-degree burglary and have yet to locate him.
They said on Aug. 5 Smith forced his way into his ex-girlfriend's home and told her, "If you ain't gonna be with me, you ain't gonna be with no **** body," according to the police report.
The victim told police Smith hit her several times in the face and she lost consciousness at one point. Her children were inside the home during the assault as well, police said.
