Belton man accused of shooting man in leg

BELTON, SC (FOX Carolina) -

A Belton man was arrested Wednesday evening after police said he shot a man in the leg during an argument.

The shooting happened about 6 p.m. at 5 Cox St.

According to an incident report, officers arrived to find a man standing in the road, suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg. The man told police that he had been shot by 70-year-old Robert Holloway, according to the incident report.

Holloway was charged with attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
