Thousands of people are expected to "Fall for Greenville" this weekend - and luckily, we've got a forecast that you'll be able to fall for, too! We'll stay mainly dry today through the weekend, with scattered rain chances holding off until early next week. So football players/fans, leaf-peepers and pumpkin patch visitors will be happy, too! Here's the forecast breakdown.
TODAY: Expect a mix of clouds in the Upstate (partly cloudy to mostly cloudy) - some times will be brighter, but at other times you'll be able to take off your sunglasses. There will be more cloud cover in the Mountains (mostly cloudy) with a small chance of a spotty shower along the TN border. Highs will be near-normal, in the mid 70s in the Upstate and near 70 degrees in WNC.
SATURDAY: We'll keep the forecast dry for the entire viewing area, with partly cloudy sky cover overhead. Temperatures will fall a few degrees (highs in the mid to upper 60s), but with the sunshine I think most will agree it will be a comfortable fall day.
SUNDAY: Temperatures return to seasonal levels, with most of the area staying dry. Skies will be partly cloudy, with a slight chance of a shower late Sunday in the Mountains.
MONDAY: A cold front will bring back the chance of showers and storms - but with that said, I don't think we'll see a lot of wet weather. Showers/storms will be fairly hit-or-miss in the Upstate, with scattered rain across WNC.
Have a great weekend!
