SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -
Deputies said they are investigating an armed robbery of a Spartanburg convenience store.
The robbery happened at the Kangaroo Express at 1245 Asheville Hwy. on Monday about 9:15 p.m.
Spartanburg County deputies said a man entered the store, showed a gun and demanded money.
Witnesses told deputies they saw the man leave on a bicycle headed towards California Avenue.
The subject was described as a black male, 5'7" tall, in his early 20s, was wearing a light-colored or gray jacket or hooded sweatshirt, and a red bandana or scarf over his face.
