Boy, 14, accused of sexually assaulting younger girl

WOODRUFF, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Deputies said a 14-year-old boy is in custody after he sexually assaulted an 8-year-old girl at two different locations.

Spartanburg County deputies said they were notified on Sept. 5 after the girl told her mother that the boy had performed the sexual acts at her home and a swimming pool in Woodruff.

Deputies said when they spoke with the boy, he admitted to some oral sex acts but not everything the girl reported, and said he knew it was wrong and she was too young.

The boy was charged with criminal sexual conduct with a minor first degree and taken to the Department of Juvenile Justice in Columbia.
