GREENWOOD, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Two Greenwood County parents are accused of exposing their children to methamphetamine.

According to sheriff's office reports, they were notified by a Department of Social Services worker that four children, ages 5, 4, 2 and 1, had possibly been exposed to methamphetamine.

Deputies said Kayla Beggs, 29, exposed her four children to methamphetamine, which was confirmed through hair sample tests in late September.

Dustin Young, 26, the father of the two younger children, was also investigated on the same allegations, deputies said.

Both Beggs and Young were arrested and charged with unlawful conduct toward a child.

The children were placed in the care of their grandmother following the investigation, deputies said.
