SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -
Spartanburg County deputies said a man robbed a cash-advance store at gunpoint Wednesday afternoon.
The robbery happened about 1:30 p.m. at the Advance America at 1511 Asheville Hwy.
Deputies said a man wearing a gray, hooded sweatshirt and sunglasses pointed a gun and demanded money. They said the man then grabbed the cash and forced a clerk into a restroom before he fled the store on foot.
No one was injured in the robbery.
