SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Police said they are looking for two men who robbed a Moore man outside of Spartanburg Arby's on Sunday.

Spartanburg Public Safety officers were called to the Arby's on S. Pine Street about 7:20 p.m. after the victim said he picked up the subjects to sell them an amplifier and CD player, then drove them to the restaurant where they proceeded to try and rob him at gunpoint.

Police said the victim told them that when they arrived at the Arby's the man riding in the back seat went to pull out the gun and told him to give him everything in his pockets, but he struggled with the man, getting the gun away from him.

The man sitting in the front seat then grabbed the keys from the ignition and both men took off running, police said.

Neither suspect was arrested. Police said the victim only new them by nicknames and had been contacted by them over the phone about the sale.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
