Arrest made in death of elderly Greenville couple

GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Greenville County deputies said an arrest was made Thursday in connection with the deaths of an elderly Greenville couple.

Deputies said 78-year-old Gary Wells and his wife, 77-year-old Helen, were found stabbed to death in their Terramont Drive home Oct. 3. They said the couple's bodies were found by their housekeeper.

SLIDESHOW: Investigators on scene of death investigation

On Thursday, deputies said they have made an arrest in connection with the Wells' death, but they would not release details until a press conference scheduled for Friday afternoon.
