Man killed in Greenville County crash

TRAVELERS REST, SC (FOX Carolina) -

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash in Greenville County on Saturday.

Troopers said the driver of a Chevrolet minivan was headed north on U.S. 25, just outside of Travelers Rest, just before 4 a.m. Troopers said the driver ran off the right side of the road, struck a culvert pipe and overturned.

Troopers said the driver was pronounced on scene.

Coroner Jeff Fowler identified the driver as 33-year-old Joseph Staton. Fowler said Staton died of blunt force trauma.
